What is a 'CSA Farm Share'?

A CSA Farm Share is a season-long commitment created between the farmer and the customer that helps the farmer earn a livable wage and ensures consumers receive a bounty of vegetables each week during the summer. 'CSA' stands for Community Supported Agriculture, it is not a new concept, however it is becoming a more and more popular way for people to have better access to healthy food. There are many benefits for the farmer and the consumer:

  • By purchasing a CSA Share you are removing the middlemen from produce distribution. This means prices are not marked up for the customer and the farmer earns an honest value for their work. Also making our prices competitive with grocery stores.

  • Our food is affordable. While a share is hundreds of dollars and paid mostly up front, the growing season is long. We keep records of what is distributed weekly and exceed the value of what was paid up front by the end of the season. Extra amounts of up to 10%.

  • Know your soil. Vegetables are only as healthy as the soil in which they were grown. Even organic vegetables at the grocery store only provide the minimal amount of nutrients to create a presentable crop. We do our best and learn more each year about soil health. We use composts, manure, and organic minerals to make our soil as balanced and happy as possible. Healthy soil= Healthy people.

How it works...

Fill out the appropriate information in each box and then submit the form. We will send you back a confirmation email ASAP. We offer multiple forms of payment for your convenience:

  • Online with credit card, 5% processing fee

  • Venmo app, 2% processing fee

  • Send a check to the farm like the good old days

  • Share cost $450

The first CSA pick up usually takes place in mid May (we let you know the week before). We offer three pick up days to better fit our members schedules. 

  • Mondays @ Kalispell, Raven Ridge Farm 4-7 p.m.

  • Thursdays @ Kalispell, Raven Ridge Farm 4-7 p.m.

  • Thursdays @ Columbia Falls, CSA member’s driveway (centrally located) 5-7 p.m. *address will be sent out with your CSA pick up information.

During your registration select the pick up day that works best for you. If something changes and you need to switch days please let us know at least 48 hours before that scheduled pick up.
